This social responsibility, transferred to the internal functioning of the company, implies another differentiated management of the people who make up the Abonova business project, strategies to adapt quickly to changes in the environment and a way of working according to the values that are transferred to customers and suppliers.

For this reason, although legally Abonova is not part of the sector that groups companies linked to the social economy, since it was established as a S.L., its business model fully matches the one promoted by social economy enterprises.

MANAGEMENT

The horizontal structure of the company fosters Abonova's internal democracy. But the figure of the director is necessary and is embodied in Vicente Beneyto Vaño, who is in charge of coordinating the different departments, for optimal functioning.

Each of the members of the work team have the responsibility to take the principles and values of Abonova to the outside of the company. And the best way is by acting accordingly to these basic values. This is what is called Corporate Social Responsibility, but Abonova goes further, and aims to become a main player in any process of social transformation at the local level wherever it acts, transferring its solidary and environmental principles to the players it establishes business relationships with, especially with their suppliers of products or services and also with their customers. And to do it and demonstrate that it can be done in a cost-effective and efficient way and making a profit both economically and in terms of social utility.
